We have formed a Google group to simplify list keeping and protect our emails from unwanted intrusions, like viruses. If you would like to receive occasional news about Democratic events and forums in West Contra Costa County, please sign up. Voter Assistance & Poll Checkers

Dozens of people volunteered to be poll observers and to give rides to voters needing assistance getting to a polling place. This was truly a community effort. And while we found very few issues at the polls, there was some confusion and our volunteers helped the county elections department straighten it out so our local voters weren't turned away.
