Representing The GOP From St. Louis

Glenn Koenen

During the 7:00 p.m. hour of Anderson Cooper’s show on CNN, he featured a panel talking about the allegations concerning teenage girls facing Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore of Alabama. As is their custom, CNN reached out to a stalwart Republican to defend the judge.

Who?

St. Louis’ own, Ed Martin of the Eagle Forum. Martin accused The Washington Post of staging a hit on a man of good character and warned that several GOP Senators would be in trouble if their “peccadillos” were made public – which old Ed strongly suggested would happen if they moved to not let Moore into the Senate.

Wasn’t life better when St. Louis was known for cold beer and a winning baseball team?
