Panel: Preserving Public Education in Missouri
Peggy Cochran – lifetime educator who taught school for 20 years and, then, served 24 years working for the Missouri National Education Association ( MNEA ). Peggy spent the last 18 years of her time with MNEA as Executive Director. she is a passionate supporter of the Public Schools.
Carl Peterson – St. Charles business man who served two terms on the Ferguson-Florissant School Board. Long time Public School advocate and prominent member of St. Louis Democratic clubs.
Gary Sharpe – lifetime Public School advocate who taught and administered in the Public Schools for 13 years. Served 8 years in the Missouri House of Representatives including the final four years as Chair of the House Elementary and Secondary Education Committee. Finished his career by serving 20 years as the Executive Director of the Missouri Council of School Administrators.
