During recent debate in the Missouri House concerning a proposed state referendum to recognize a fetus as a person, Missouri State Representative Tila Hubrecht (R-Dexter) said that women should not be allowed to abort pregnancies resulting from rape. Rep. Hubrecht said, “Sometimes bad things happen, horrible things, but sometimes God can give us a silver lining through the birth of a child.”
